General Business/Commerce is the 16th most popular major in the country with 56,042 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, general business/commerce graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $43,399 and had an average of $26,389 in loans still to pay off.
At the associate degree level specifically, there were 17,867 general business/commerce graduates with average earnings and debt of $35,806 and $19,336 respectively.
This year’s “Schools for an Associate Highly Focused on General Business Major” ranking analyzed 504 colleges that offered a degree in general business/commerce. This a ranking of the schools where the largest percentage of students has enrolled in general business/commerce.
