In 2020-2021, 56,042 people earned their degree in general business/commerce, making the major the 16th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, general business/commerce graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $43,399 and had an average of $26,389 in loans still to pay off.
At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 24,850 general business/commerce graduates with average earnings and debt of $39,682 and $26,217 respectively.
