2022 Best Value Hospitality Schools for a Master’s in the Middle Atlantic Region For Those Making $0-$30k

In 2019-2020, 17,830 people earned their degree in hospitality management, making the major the 61st most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, hospitality management graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $33,271 and had an average of $21,829 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Middle Atlantic region, there were 2,608 hospitality management graduates with average earnings and debt of $33,744 and $21,033 respectively. At the master’s degree level specifically, there were 189 hospitality management graduates with average earnings and debt of $60,887 and $46,998 respectively.
For this year’s “Best Value Hospitality Schools for a Master’s in the Middle Atlantic Region For Those Making $0-$30k” ranking, we looked at 14 colleges that offer a degree in hospitality management. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great hospitality management programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.

Located in Washington, District of Columbia, this fairly large private not-for-profit school awarded 9 degrees to qualified masters’s hospitality students in 2019-2020.
Georgetown did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #5 on our “Best Hospitality Management Master’s Degree Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region” list. Average graduate tuition and fees at Georgetown are $53,591, but you may pay more or less depending on your major.
You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Cornell University. Located in Ithaca, New York, this large private not-for-profit school handed out 8 degrees to qualified masters’s hospitality students in 2019-2020.
As a testament to the quality of education offered at Cornell, the school also landed the #2 spot in our “Best Hospitality Management Master’s Degree Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region” ranking. You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Fairleigh Dickinson University - Metropolitan Campus. It ranked #3 on our 2022 Best Value Hospitality Schools for a Master’s in the Middle Atlantic Region For Those Making $0-$30k list. Located in Teaneck, New Jersey, this medium-sized private not-for-profit school handed out 8 degrees to qualified masters’s hospitality students in 2019-2020.
