In 2020-2021, 17,689 people earned their degree in hospitality management, making the major the 66th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, hospitality management graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $35,874 and had an average of $22,906 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Middle Atlantic region, there were 2,767 hospitality management graduates with average earnings and debt of $37,556 and $22,626 respectively.

For this year’s “Best Value Hospitality Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region For Those Making $0-$30k” ranking, we looked at 75 colleges that offer a degree in hospitality management. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality hospitality management programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.

When determining these rankings, we looked at things such as overall quality of the hospitality management program at the school and the cost to attend the school once aid has been awarded. Check out our ranking methodology for more information.
