In 2019-2020, 18,195 people earned their degree in curriculum and instruction, making the major the 57th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, curriculum and instruction graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $49,708 and had an average of $36,052 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southeast region, there were 4,843 curriculum and instruction graduates with average earnings and debt of $50,339 and $38,476 respectively. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great curriculum and instruction programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of the Cumberlands. It ranked #1 on our 2022 Best Value Curriculum Schools for a Master’s in the Southeast Region list. Located in Williamsburg, Kentucky, this fairly large private not-for-profit school awarded 229 diplomas to qualified masters’s curriculum students in 2019-2020.

Out of the 88 schools in the Best Value Curriculum Schools for a Master’s in the Southeast Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Arkansas State University - Main Campus landed the #2 spot on the list. This fairly large school is located in Jonesboro, Arkansas, and it awarded 157 masters’s curriculum degrees in 2019-2020.

Gardner - Webb University is located in Boiling Springs, North Carolina and, has a small student population. In 2019-2020, this school awarded 29 masters’s curriculum degrees to qualified students.
