2022 Best Value Doctor’s Degree Colleges for Other Engineering in the Southeast Region
When it comes to choosing a college, students have a lot of options - but not all of them are good. College Factual has developed its “Best Value Other Engineering Schools for a Doctorate in the Southeast Region” ranking as one item you can use to help make this decision.
In 2019-2020, 2,900 people earned their degree in other engineering, making the major the 174th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, other engineering graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $75,379 and had an average of $28,015 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southeast region, there were 506 other engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $100,400 and $22,100 respectively. At the doctor’s degree level specifically, there were 79 other engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $71,978 and $116,300 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Other Engineering Schools for a Doctorate in the Southeast Region” ranking looked at 10 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in other engineering. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great other engineering programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.
To come up with these rankings, we looked at factors such as the cost to attend the school after aid is awarded and overall quality of the other engineering program at the school. For more information, check out our ranking methodology.
