In 2019-2020, 2,900 people earned their degree in other engineering, making the major the 174th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, other engineering graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $75,379 and had an average of $28,015 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southeast region, there were 506 other engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $100,400 and $22,100 respectively. At the master’s degree level specifically, there were 332 other engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $53,950 and $43,286 respectively.

The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great other engineering programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.
