General Business/Commerce is the 13th most popular major in the country with 55,749 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, general business/commerce graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $40,821 and had an average of $25,596 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southwest region, there were 7,697 general business/commerce graduates with average earnings and debt of $35,813 and $20,495 respectively. At the associate degree level specifically, there were 3,701 general business/commerce graduates with average earnings and debt of $33,605 and $16,886 respectively.
For this year’s “Best Value General Business Schools for an Associate in the Southwest Region” ranking, we looked at 40 colleges that offer a degree in general business/commerce. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great general business/commerce programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.
