General Business/Commerce is the 13th most popular major in the country with 55,749 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, general business/commerce graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $40,821 and had an average of $25,596 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southeast region, there were 12,085 general business/commerce graduates with average earnings and debt of $41,553 and $27,503 respectively. At the associate degree level specifically, there were 3,282 general business/commerce graduates with average earnings and debt of $31,631 and $18,547 respectively.

The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great general business/commerce programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.
