General Business/Commerce is the 16th most popular major in the country with 56,042 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, general business/commerce graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $43,399 and had an average of $26,389 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southeast region, there were 13,506 general business/commerce graduates with average earnings and debt of $43,048 and $30,132 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value General Business Schools in the Southeast Region” ranking analyzed 117 colleges that offered a degree in general business/commerce. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great general business/commerce programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.
