In 2019-2020, 26,616 people earned their degree in human resource management, making the major the 43rd most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, human resource management graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $46,242 and had an average of $34,825 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southeast region, there were 3,387 human resource management graduates with average earnings and debt of $46,672 and $40,373 respectively. At the associate degree level specifically, there were 80 human resource management graduates with average earnings and debt of $31,631 and $18,547 respectively.

For this year’s “Best Value HR Schools for an Associate in the Southeast Region” ranking, we looked at 10 colleges that offer a degree in human resource management. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality human resource management programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
