In 2019-2020, 26,616 people earned their degree in human resource management, making the major the 43rd most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, human resource management graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $46,242 and had an average of $34,825 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Middle Atlantic region, there were 4,634 human resource management graduates with average earnings and debt of $50,049 and $33,952 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 2,268 human resource management graduates with average earnings and debt of $39,278 and $24,587 respectively.

This year’s “Best Value HR Schools for a Bachelor’s in the Middle Atlantic Region” ranking analyzed 55 colleges that offered a degree in human resource management. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent human resource management programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.
