2022 Best Value Bachelor’s Degree Colleges for Human Resource Management

Human Resource Management is the 43rd most popular major in the country with 26,616 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, human resource management graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $46,242 and had an average of $34,825 in loans still to pay off.
At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 11,331 human resource management graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,303 and $24,501 respectively.
For this year’s “Best Value HR Schools for a Bachelor’s” ranking, we looked at 310 colleges that offer a degree in human resource management. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent human resource management programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.

WGU is a private not-for-profit institution located in Salt Lake City, Utah. The school has a large population, and it awarded 844 bachelors’s degrees in 2019-2020.
As a testament to the quality of education it offers, WGU is also in the top of our “Best Human Resource Management Bachelor’s Degree Schools” ranking. It’s in the top 10% of all schools in this category. It costs about $9,805 for Bachelor’s Degree HR students per year to attend WGU.

Out of the 310 schools in the Best Value HR Schools for a Bachelor’s that were part of this year’s ranking, Colorado State University - Global Campus landed the #3 spot on the list. Colorado State University - Global Campus is a public institution located in Greenwood Village, Colorado. The school has a fairly large population, and it awarded 283 bachelors’s degrees in 2019-2020.
As a testament to the quality of education offered at Colorado State University - Global Campus, the school also landed the #13 spot in our “Best Human Resource Management Bachelor’s Degree Schools” ranking.
