Human Resource Management is the 43rd most popular major in the country with 26,616 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, human resource management graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $46,242 and had an average of $34,825 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southwest region, there were 3,740 human resource management graduates with average earnings and debt of $44,989 and $33,994 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 1,380 human resource management graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,896 and $23,899 respectively.
For this year’s “Best Value HR Schools for a Bachelor’s in the Southwest Region” ranking, we looked at 29 colleges that offer a degree in human resource management. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality human resource management programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
