2022 Best Value MIS Schools for a Bachelor’s in the Southwest Region

In 2019-2020, 14,198 people earned their degree in management information systems, making the major the 69th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, management information systems graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $56,157 and had an average of $27,895 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southwest region, there were 2,383 management information systems graduates with average earnings and debt of $54,286 and $28,976 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 1,768 management information systems graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,896 and $23,899 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value MIS Schools for a Bachelor’s in the Southwest Region” ranking analyzed 41 colleges that offered a degree in management information systems. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent management information systems programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Oklahoma Norman Campus. It ranked #4 on our 2022 Best Value MIS Schools for a Bachelor’s in the Southwest Region list. Norman, Oklahoma is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out bachelors’s MIS degrees to 137 students in 2019-2020.
