Our “Best Value Business, Management & Marketing Schools for a Doctorate” ranking is part of that endeavor.
In 2019-2020, 841,037 business, management and marketing students received their degree, making the major the 1st most popular in the country. In 2017-2018, business, management and marketing graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $44,966 and had an average of $27,464 in loans still to pay off.
At the doctor’s degree level specifically, there were 3,497 business, management and marketing graduates with average earnings and debt of $72,680 and $116,043 respectively.
For this year’s “Best Value Business, Management & Marketing Schools for a Doctorate” ranking, we looked at 212 colleges that offer a degree in business, management and marketing. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality business, management and marketing programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
When determining these rankings, we looked at things such as overall quality of the business, management and marketing program at the school and the cost to attend the school once aid has been awarded. Check out our ranking methodology for more information.
