Marketing is the 16th most popular major in the country with 52,262 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, marketing graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $40,323 and had an average of $24,975 in loans still to pay off.
At the doctor’s degree level specifically, there were 24 marketing graduates with average earnings and debt of $72,680 and $116,043 respectively.
For this year’s “Best Value Marketing Schools for a Doctorate” ranking, we looked at 9 colleges that offer a degree in marketing. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality marketing programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
