2022 Best Value Bachelor’s Degree Colleges for Computer Programming in the Great Lakes Region
When it comes to choosing a college, students have a lot of options - but not all of them are good. College Factual has developed its “Best Value Programming Schools for a Bachelor’s in the Great Lakes Region” ranking as one item you can use to help make this decision.
In 2019-2020, 10,756 people earned their degree in computer programming, making the major the 121st most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, computer programming graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $45,886 and had an average of $26,222 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Great Lakes region, there were 1,969 computer programming graduates with average earnings and debt of $42,816 and $21,998 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 374 computer programming graduates with average earnings and debt of $39,075 and $25,381 respectively.
For this year’s “Best Value Programming Schools for a Bachelor’s in the Great Lakes Region” ranking, we looked at 14 colleges that offer a degree in computer programming. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent computer programming programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.
