2022 Best Value Doctor’s Degree Colleges for General Engineering in the New England Region

General Engineering is the 78th most popular major in the country with 11,925 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, general engineering graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $66,152 and had an average of $20,077 in loans still to pay off.

Across the New England region, there were 957 general engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $70,780 and $14,271 respectively. At the doctor’s degree level specifically, there were 17 general engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $73,889 and $109,372 respectively.

This ranking identifies schools with high-quality general engineering programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
