Health Sciences & Services is the 42nd most popular major in the country with 31,648 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, health sciences and services graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $34,571 and had an average of $24,129 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Middle Atlantic region, there were 5,577 health sciences and services graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,430 and $21,646 respectively. At the associate degree level specifically, there were 1,824 health sciences and services graduates with average earnings and debt of $32,733 and $16,201 respectively.
For this year’s “Best Value Health Science Schools for an Associate in the Middle Atlantic Region” ranking, we looked at 35 colleges that offer a degree in health sciences and services. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality health sciences and services programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
