2022 Best Value Health Science Schools for an Associate
When it comes to choosing a college, students have a lot of options - but not all of them are good. College Factual has developed its “Best Value Health Science Schools for an Associate” ranking as one item you can use to help make this decision.
Health Sciences & Services is the 42nd most popular major in the country with 31,648 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, health sciences and services graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $34,571 and had an average of $24,129 in loans still to pay off.
At the associate degree level specifically, there were 8,214 health sciences and services graduates with average earnings and debt of $33,082 and $17,678 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Health Science Schools for an Associate” ranking looked at 177 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in health sciences and services. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality health sciences and services programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
When determining these rankings, we looked at things such as overall quality of the health sciences and services program at the school and the cost to attend the school once aid has been awarded. Check out our ranking methodology for more information.

Raritan Valley Community College landed the #8 spot on the 2022 Best Value Health Science Schools for an Associate ranking. This medium-sized school is located in Branchburg, New Jersey, and it awarded 45 associates’s health science degrees in 2019-2020.
