Health Sciences & Services is the 42nd most popular major in the country with 31,648 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, health sciences and services graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $34,571 and had an average of $24,129 in loans still to pay off.

At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 17,662 health sciences and services graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,303 and $24,501 respectively.

This year’s “Best Value Health Science Schools for a Bachelor’s” ranking analyzed 297 colleges that offered a degree in health sciences and services. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great health sciences and services programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.

When determining these rankings, we looked at things such as overall quality of the health sciences and services program at the school and the cost to attend the school once aid has been awarded. See our ranking methodology to learn more.
