In 2017-2018, fine and studio arts graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $23,847 and had an average of $28,316 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Plains States region, there were 1,924 fine and studio arts graduates with average earnings and debt of $25,125 and $27,523 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 1,649 fine and studio arts graduates with average earnings and debt of $39,786 and $25,576 respectively.

This year’s “Best Value Fine Arts Schools for a Bachelor’s in the Plains States Region” ranking analyzed 67 colleges that offered a degree in fine and studio arts. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality fine and studio arts programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
