In 2019-2020, 52,262 people earned their degree in marketing, making the major the 16th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, marketing graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $40,323 and had an average of $24,975 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southwest region, there were 6,234 marketing graduates with average earnings and debt of $40,667 and $25,152 respectively.

This year’s “Best Value Marketing Schools in the Southwest Region For Those Getting Aid” ranking analyzed 82 colleges that offered a degree in marketing. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great marketing programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.
