2022 Best Value Bachelor’s Degree Colleges for Engineering in the New England Region

In 2019-2020, 200,458 engineering students received their degree, making the major the 6th most popular in the country. In 2017-2018, engineering graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $64,888 and had an average of $23,564 in loans still to pay off.
Across the New England region, there were 13,723 engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $69,635 and $25,116 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 7,913 engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $41,041 and $24,492 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Engineering Schools for a Bachelor’s in the New England Region” ranking looked at 34 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in engineering. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent engineering programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.
Some of the factors we look at when determining these rankings are overall quality of the engineering program at the school and the cost of the school after aid is awarded among other things. Check out our ranking methodology for more information.
