Across the Great Lakes region, there were 32,788 engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $66,596 and $24,858 respectively. At the master’s degree level specifically, there were 7,612 engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $57,039 and $42,488 respectively.

For this year’s “Best Value Engineering Schools for a Master’s in the Great Lakes Region” ranking, we looked at 42 colleges that offer a degree in engineering. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality engineering programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
