2022 Best Value Associate Degree Colleges for Accounting in the Plains States Region

Our “Best Value Accounting Schools for an Associate in the Plains States Region” ranking is part of that endeavor.
Accounting is one of the most popular majors in the nation, ranking 8th of all the majors we analyze. In 2019-2020, 101,094 degrees were awarded to students with this major. In 2017-2018, accounting graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $44,557 and had an average of $26,381 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Plains States region, there were 7,325 accounting graduates with average earnings and debt of $42,219 and $28,170 respectively. At the associate degree level specifically, there were 813 accounting graduates with average earnings and debt of $34,069 and $19,434 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Accounting Schools for an Associate in the Plains States Region” ranking analyzed 54 colleges that offered a degree in accounting. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality accounting programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
