For this year's Best Accounting Colleges for Veterans ranking, we looked at 527 colleges that offer a bachelor's in accounting. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality accounting programs as well as strong veteran support.

Some of the factors we look at when determining these rankings are overall quality of the accounting program at the school, veteran affordability, and veteran population. For more information, check out our ranking methodology.

Georgetown University earned the #1 spot in our 2021 rankings. Georgetown is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the city of Washington. Georgetown also made our Best Colleges for Accounting list, coming in at #2.

Among the 19,371 students enrolled at Georgetown, 870 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 809 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for these recipients was $16,728. In addition to receiving other benefits, 254 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. It is also #8 on our Best Colleges for Accounting list.

Of the 46,287 students enrolled at USC, 1,323 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 908 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $21,271. In addition to receiving other benefits, 415 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program.
