2022 Best Value Nursing Schools for a Master’s in the Southeast Region

With 313,362 degrees handed out in 2019-2020, nursing is the 3rd most popular major in the United States. In 2017-2018, nursing graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $67,065 and had an average of $26,282 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southeast region, there were 74,467 nursing graduates with average earnings and debt of $64,095 and $26,787 respectively. At the master’s degree level specifically, there were 11,070 nursing graduates with average earnings and debt of $53,950 and $43,286 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Nursing Schools for a Master’s in the Southeast Region” ranking looked at 132 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in nursing. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality nursing programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.

East Carolina University landed the #19 spot on the 2022 Best Value Nursing Schools for a Master’s in the Southeast Region ranking. Greenville, North Carolina is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out masters’s nursing degrees to 88 students in 2019-2020.
