Electrical Engineering is the 31st most popular major in the country with 30,670 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, electrical engineering graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $70,098 and had an average of $23,581 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Far Western US region, there were 6,238 electrical engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $75,062 and $20,910 respectively. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great electrical engineering programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.
