Architecture is the 124th most popular major in the country with 4,967 degrees awarded in 2019-2020.
At the master’s degree level specifically, there were 1,087 architecture graduates with average earnings and debt of $56,398 and $43,194 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value architecture Schools for a Master’s” ranking looked at 46 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in architecture. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great architecture programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.

University of Florida ranked #7 on this year’s Best Value architecture Schools for a Master’s list. UF is a large public school situated in Gainesville, Florida. It awarded 60 masters’s architecture degrees in 2019-2020.

Kent State University at Kent landed the #8 spot on the 2022 Best Value architecture Schools for a Master’s ranking. Kent State is a large public school situated in Kent, Ohio. It awarded 47 masters’s architecture degrees in 2019-2020.

Prairie View A & M University did quite well in the 2022 Best Value architecture Schools for a Master’s ranking, coming in at #9. PVAMU is a medium-sized school located in Prairie View, Texas that handed out 17 masters’s architecture degrees in 2019-2020.

Judson University ranked #10 on this year’s Best Value architecture Schools for a Master’s list. Judson is a small school located in Elgin, Illinois that handed out 11 masters’s architecture degrees in 2019-2020.

Florida International University landed the #11 spot on the 2022 Best Value architecture Schools for a Master’s ranking. Miami, Florida is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out masters’s architecture degrees to 110 students in 2019-2020.

University of South Florida - Main Campus did quite well in the 2022 Best Value architecture Schools for a Master’s ranking, coming in at #19. USF Tampa is a large public school situated in Tampa, Florida. It awarded 34 masters’s architecture degrees in 2019-2020.
