With all of the options veterans have for higher education today, it can be tough to choose which direction to take. College Factual has developed its “Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for Entrepreneurship” ranking as one item you can use to help make this decision.
Entrepreneurial Studies is the 120th most popular major in the country with 11,319 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, entrepreneurial studies graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $42,578 and had an average of $25,632 in loans still to pay off.
Across the New England region, there were 595 entrepreneurial studies graduates with average earnings and debt of $46,711 and $24,190 respectively.
This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for Entrepreneurship” ranking looked at 20 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in entrepreneurial studies. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent entrepreneurial studies programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.
Some of the factors we look at when determining these rankings are overall quality of the entrepreneurial studies program at the school, veteran affordability, and veteran population. Check out our ranking methodology for more information.

Top 20 Best Entrepreneurial Studies Colleges for Veterans in the New England Region
You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Brown University. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for Entrepreneurship list. Located in Providence, Rhode Island, this fairly large private not-for-profit school handed out 55 diplomas to qualified ’s entrepreneurship students in 2020-2021.
As a testament to the quality of education offered at Brown, the school also landed the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] spot in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Among the 9,948 students enrolled at Brown, 98 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 19 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $20,111. On top of their other funding sources, 40 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program.
The undergraduate student-to-faculty ratio of 6 to 1 is a sign that students will have more opportunities to engage with their professors one-on-one.
