Our “Most Veteran Friendly in Florida for Entrepreneurship” ranking is part of that endeavor.

Entrepreneurial Studies is the 120th most popular major in the country with 11,319 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, entrepreneurial studies graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $42,578 and had an average of $25,632 in loans still to pay off.

Across Florida, there were 2,768 entrepreneurial studies graduates with average earnings and debt of $37,344 and $20,451 respectively.

For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Florida for Entrepreneurship” ranking, we looked at 17 colleges that offer a degree in entrepreneurial studies. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great entrepreneurial studies programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.

Some of the factors we look at when determining these rankings are overall quality of the entrepreneurial studies program at the school, veteran affordability, and veteran population. For more information, check out our ranking methodology.

USF Tampa did well in our major quality rankings, too.
