When it comes to choosing a college, veterans have a lot of options - but not all of them are good. College Factual has developed its “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Entrepreneurship” ranking as one item you can use to help make this decision.
Entrepreneurial Studies is the 120th most popular major in the country with 11,319 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, entrepreneurial studies graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $42,578 and had an average of $25,632 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southwest region, there were 957 entrepreneurial studies graduates with average earnings and debt of $50,812 and $26,432 respectively.
This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Entrepreneurship” ranking analyzed 16 colleges that offered a degree in entrepreneurial studies. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality entrepreneurial studies programs as well as strong veteran support.
To come up with these rankings, we looked at factors such as veteran satisfaction, veteran affordability, and overall quality of the entrepreneurial studies program at the school. For more information, check out our ranking methodology.

Top 16 Best Entrepreneurial Studies Colleges for Veterans in the Southwest Region
You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend Texas A&M University - College Station. The school came in at #1 for the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Entrepreneurship. College Station, Texas is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out ’s entrepreneurship degrees to 36 students in 2020-2021.
Texas A&M College Station did well in our major quality rankings, too.
