When it comes to choosing a college, veterans have a lot of options - but not all of them are good. College Factual has developed its “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Entrepreneurship” ranking as one item you can use to help make this decision.

Entrepreneurial Studies is the 120th most popular major in the country with 11,319 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, entrepreneurial studies graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $42,578 and had an average of $25,632 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southwest region, there were 957 entrepreneurial studies graduates with average earnings and debt of $50,812 and $26,432 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Entrepreneurship” ranking analyzed 16 colleges that offered a degree in entrepreneurial studies. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality entrepreneurial studies programs as well as strong veteran support.

To come up with these rankings, we looked at factors such as veteran satisfaction, veteran affordability, and overall quality of the entrepreneurial studies program at the school. For more information, check out our ranking methodology.

Texas A&M College Station did well in our major quality rankings, too. The public school handed out ’s entrepreneurship degrees to 102 students in 2020-2021.

ASU - Tempe did well in our major quality rankings, too. Located in Tucson, Arizona, this large public school awarded 85 degrees to qualified ’s entrepreneurship students in 2020-2021.

Out of the 16 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Entrepreneurship that were part of this year’s ranking, Texas Christian University landed the #4 spot on the list. TCU is a fairly large private not-for-profit school situated in Fort Worth, Texas. It awarded 50 ’s entrepreneurship degrees in 2020-2021.

TCU not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] on our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list.According to our most recent data, Texas Christian University supports 11,379 students, and 520 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 405 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $23,096. To help with additional expenses, 343 students received funds through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Texas Christian University does offer credit for military training for eligible students.

Oklahoma State University - Main Campus is located in Stillwater, Oklahoma and, has a large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 62 ’s entrepreneurship degrees to qualified students.
