It’s not easy to decide which college to attend when there so many options available for veterans. One of our goals at College Factual is to give you as much information as we can - such as our “Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for Insurance” ranking - to help you make that decision.
Insurance is the 201st most popular major in the country with 1,809 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, insurance graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $57,764 and had an average of $24,058 in loans still to pay off.
Across the New England region, there were 37 insurance graduates with average earnings and debt of $80,649 and $27,000 respectively.

Top 2 Best Insurance Colleges for Veterans in the New England Region
You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend Boston University. The school came in at #1 for the Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for Insurance. Located in Boston, Massachusetts, this large private not-for-profit school handed out 14 degrees to qualified ’s insurance students in 2020-2021.
In addition to being on our new england region vets studying insurance list, Boston U has also earned the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] rank in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 15 of the 32,718 students enrolled at Boston U were GI Bill® students, of which 1 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $25,162. During this same period, 0 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program.

Out of the 2 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for Insurance that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Hartford landed the #2 spot on the list. Located in West Hartford, Connecticut, this medium-sized private not-for-profit school awarded 15 diplomas to qualified ’s insurance students in 2020-2021.
UHart did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] on our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list.Among the 6,493 students enrolled at UHart, 96 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 54 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $12,928. To help with additional expenses, 18 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program.
