In 2020-2021, 13,680 people earned their degree in management information systems, making the major the 73rd most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, management information systems graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $57,647 and had an average of $24,340 in loans still to pay off.
Across New York, there were 258 management information systems graduates with average earnings and debt of $74,868 and $22,884 respectively.
For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in New York for MIS” ranking, we looked at 10 colleges that offer a degree in management information systems. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality management information systems programs as well as strong veteran support.

Rochester Institute of Technology is a private not-for-profit institution located in Rochester, New York. The school has a fairly large population, and it awarded 59 ’s degrees in 2020-2021.

Out of the 10 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in New York for MIS that were part of this year’s ranking, Clarkson University landed the #2 spot on the list. Located in Potsdam, New York, this small private not-for-profit school awarded 10 degrees to qualified ’s MIS students in 2020-2021.
Clarkson not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] on our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list.Among the 4,025 students enrolled at Clarkson, 67 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. New York, New York is the setting for this small institution of higher learning. The private for-profit school handed out ’s MIS degrees to 28 students in 2020-2021.
DeVry College of New York-Midtown Manhattan did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] on our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list.Among the 1,213 students enrolled at DeVry College of New York, 724 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data.
