It’s not easy to decide which college to attend when there so many options available for veterans. College Factual was founded, in part, to help students make the decision as to what would be the best school for them. Our “Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for MIS” ranking is part of that endeavor.

Management Information Systems is the 73rd most popular major in the country with 13,680 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, management information systems graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $57,647 and had an average of $24,340 in loans still to pay off.

Across the New England region, there were 715 management information systems graduates with average earnings and debt of $54,333 and $25,082 respectively.

For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for MIS” ranking, we looked at 18 colleges that offer a degree in management information systems. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality management information systems programs as well as strong veteran support.

When determining these rankings, we looked at things such as overall quality of the management information systems program at the school, veteran affordability, and veteran satisfaction. For more information, check out our ranking methodology.
