In 2020-2021, 13,680 people earned their degree in management information systems, making the major the 73rd most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, management information systems graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $57,647 and had an average of $24,340 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southwest region, there were 2,364 management information systems graduates with average earnings and debt of $54,839 and $22,098 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for MIS” ranking analyzed 37 colleges that offered a degree in management information systems. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent management information systems programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.
