In 2020-2021, 13,680 people earned their degree in management information systems, making the major the 73rd most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, management information systems graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $57,647 and had an average of $24,340 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Plains States region, there were 778 management information systems graduates with average earnings and debt of $56,586 and $27,070 respectively.

For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Plains States Region for MIS” ranking, we looked at 39 colleges that offer a degree in management information systems. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality management information systems programs as well as strong veteran support.

UNI did well in our major quality rankings, too.
