With all of the options veterans have for higher education today, it can be tough to choose which direction to take. Our “Most Veteran Friendly in the Plains States Region for MIS” ranking is part of that endeavor.
In 2020-2021, 13,680 people earned their degree in management information systems, making the major the 73rd most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, management information systems graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $57,647 and had an average of $24,340 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Plains States region, there were 778 management information systems graduates with average earnings and debt of $56,586 and $27,070 respectively.
For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Plains States Region for MIS” ranking, we looked at 39 colleges that offer a degree in management information systems. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality management information systems programs as well as strong veteran support.
Some of the factors we look at when determining these rankings are overall quality of the management information systems program at the school, veteran affordability, and veteran population. See our ranking methodology to learn more.
