In 2019-2020, 11,861 people earned their degree in communications, making the major the 65th most popular in the United States.
At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 10,632 communications graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,303 and $24,501 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Communication Arts Schools for a Bachelor’s” ranking looked at 187 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in communications. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent communications programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.
