It’s not easy to decide which college to attend when there so many options available for students. In 2020-2021, 5,216 people earned their degree in public relations, making the major the 138th most popular in the United States.

This year’s “Best Value PR Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region” ranking analyzed 19 colleges that offered a degree in public relations. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great public relations programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.
To come up with these rankings, we looked at factors such as the cost to attend the school after aid is awarded and overall quality of the public relations program at the school. Check out our ranking methodology for more information.

Top 19 Best Value Colleges for Public Relations in the Middle Atlantic Region
Out of the 19 schools in the Best Value PR Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Rowan University landed the #1 spot on the list. Rowan is located in Glassboro, New Jersey and, has a fairly large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 87 ’s PR degrees to qualified students.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend George Washington University. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Best Value PR Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region list. Located in Washington, District of Columbia, this large private not-for-profit school handed out 42 degrees to qualified ’s PR students in 2020-2021.
