In 2019-2020, 6,668 people earned their degree in audiovisual communications, making the major the 145th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, audiovisual communications graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $22,392 and had an average of $24,925 in loans still to pay off.

At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 1,277 audiovisual communications graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,303 and $24,501 respectively.

This year’s “Best Value Audiovisual Schools for a Bachelor’s” ranking looked at 27 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in audiovisual communications. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent audiovisual communications programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.
