In 2019-2020, computer information systems graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $54,066 and had an average of $26,787 in loans still to pay off.

At the associate degree level specifically, there were 11,058 computer information systems graduates with average earnings and debt of $35,806 and $19,336 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly for CIS for an Associate” ranking looked at 112 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in computer information systems. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent computer information systems programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Rochester Institute of Technology. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly for CIS for an Associate list. RIT is a fairly large school located in Rochester, New York that handed out 20 associates’s CIS degrees in 2020-2021.

RIT did well in our major quality rankings, too.
