When pursuing a degree in today’s world, students have many different options to choose from. College Factual was founded, in part, to help students make the decision as to what would be the best school for them. Our “Most Well Attended IS Major in Florida for an Associate” ranking is part of that endeavor.
In 2020-2021, 18,325 people earned their degree in information science, making the major the 58th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, information science graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $59,394 and had an average of $28,852 in loans still to pay off.
Across Florida, there were 405 information science graduates with average earnings and debt of $62,523 and $42,545 respectively. At the associate degree level specifically, there were 17 information science graduates with average earnings and debt of $35,132 and $22,101 respectively.
To top this list, a school must have a successful information science program that graduates more students in the field than other colleges that offer the same major.
