Students have lots of options to chooose from today when trying to decide which college to attend. College Factual has developed its “Best Value Carpentry Schools for an Associate” ranking as one item you can use to help make this decision.

In 2019-2020, 4,262 people earned their degree in carpentry, making the major the 270th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, carpentry graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $24,564 and had an average of $9,915 in loans still to pay off.

At the associate degree level specifically, there were 533 carpentry graduates with average earnings and debt of $33,082 and $17,678 respectively.

This year’s “Best Value Carpentry Schools for an Associate” ranking looked at 22 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in carpentry. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great carpentry programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.
