This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Modern Language Education” ranking analyzed 10 colleges that offered a degree in modern language education. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality modern language education programs as well as strong veteran support.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of South Florida - Main Campus. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Modern Language Education list. Located in Tampa, Florida, this large public school handed out 4 degrees to qualified ’s modern language education students in 2020-2021.

USF Tampa also made our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list, coming in at #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS].According to our most recent data, USF Tampa supports 50,626 students, and 2,211 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 1,241 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $4,943. On top of their other funding sources, 13 students received funds through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Located in Athens, Georgia, this large public school awarded 22 degrees to qualified ’s modern language education students in 2020-2021.

UGA also made our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list, coming in at #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS].Of the 39,147 students enrolled at University of Georgia, 9 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Florida International University is a large school located in Miami, Florida that handed out 11 ’s modern language education degrees in 2020-2021.

In addition to being on our southeast region vets studying modern language education list, FIU has also earned the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] rank in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 1,079 of the 58,836 students enrolled at Florida International University were GI Bill® students, of which 606 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $6,771. During this same period, 0 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program.
