University of Southern Mississippi earned the #1 spot in our 2021 rankings. Located in the city of Hattiesburg, Southern Miss is a public school with a fairly large student population. Southern Miss also took the #4 spot in our Best Colleges for Teacher Education Subject Specific in Mississippi rankings.
