In 2020-2021, 110,226 teacher education grade specific students received their degree, making the major the 6th most popular in the country. In 2019-2020, teacher education grade specific graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $37,970 and had an average of $24,228 in loans still to pay off.

Across Massachusetts, there were 2,709 teacher education grade specific graduates with average earnings and debt of $39,381 and $22,726 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Massachusetts for Grade Specific Ed” ranking analyzed 35 colleges that offered a degree in teacher education grade specific. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality teacher education grade specific programs as well as strong veteran support.
