In 2020-2021, 8,592 people earned their degree in electronics engineering technology, making the major the 130th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, electronics engineering technology graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $52,304 and had an average of $24,888 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southeast region, there were 3,156 electronics engineering technology graduates with average earnings and debt of $47,803 and $24,500 respectively.

For this year’s “Best Value EE Tech Schools in the Southeast Region” ranking, we looked at 28 colleges that offer a degree in electronics engineering technology. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great electronics engineering technology programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.

Some of the factors we look at when determining these rankings are overall quality of the electronics engineering technology program at the school and the cost of the school after aid is awarded among other things. Check out our ranking methodology for more information.
