Our “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for EE Tech” ranking is one tool we have developed to help in this regard.

In 2020-2021, 8,592 people earned their degree in electronics engineering technology, making the major the 130th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, electronics engineering technology graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $52,304 and had an average of $24,888 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southeast region, there were 3,156 electronics engineering technology graduates with average earnings and debt of $47,803 and $24,500 respectively.

For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for EE Tech” ranking, we looked at 29 colleges that offer a degree in electronics engineering technology. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great electronics engineering technology programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.

When determining these rankings, we looked at things such as overall quality of the electronics engineering technology program at the school, veteran affordability, and veteran satisfaction. See our ranking methodology to learn more.

UNC Charlotte is a large public school situated in Charlotte, North Carolina. It awarded 30 ’s EE tech degrees in 2020-2021.

UNC Charlotte not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] on our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list.According to our most recent data, UNC Charlotte supports 30,146 students, and 1,476 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 642 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients.
